If you’re anything like us you will relish being a tourist in your city. There are so many wonderful sights to see, interesting places to visit and days out can be exciting and rewarding. Sadly the cost can sometimes make us think twice. This is London we are talking about after all and our city ain’t cheap!

To make a small saving, you’ll usually have to pre-book excursions before printing out what feels like hundreds of tickets for specific dates and times (and, of course, specific venues) which may end up putting you off altogether. This is where the Keetoo app comes in.

Queen’s Park Mums tried it out with a visit to Kensington Palace. It really was an incredibly straightforward experience. What was particularly useful was that we were able to be last minute about our outing and so on a bright and crisp winter’s day we set off for the historic palace and its beautiful gardens!

On arrival with a tap or two on the app we confirmed this was where we wanted to be. Up popped the bar code which was scanned by the lady at the ticket desk and our family ticket was printed. It all took less than a minute. Less time than it takes a four and a half year old to claim they are BORED.

A little more about Keetoo

Keetoo is a UK based company focused on making family days out convenient, flexible and, most importantly, affordable.

It was developed by founders with families of their own, who understand the difficulties of organising a day out with the kids; such as the sudden change of plans due to illness or bad weather, not to mention the ever-increasing costs of such an adventure.

Launched at the start of 2019, Keetoo’s mission is to make days out in London as easy as possible for parents. It gets rid of the need to buy tickets to specific venues or to pre-book specific dates and times. There’s no booking or pre-planning required, allowing you the flexibility to go where you want, when you want, all while offering great savings too.

For £39 per adult and £23 per child, you can visit any TWO of the listed London attractions on a day that works for you. No fixed times, no fixed combinations, just turn up to your chosen venue, decide as you arrive and have some fun. After visiting your first attraction, you’ll have 10 days to visit the second, just in case you want to take things a little slower.

Plus, all the information you need, including your tickets for entry, are stored within the Keetoo app. As an added extra, you can also benefit from FREE starters or desserts at selected restaurants with every main meal you purchase.

Keetoo has recently received a huge endorsement from Mumsnetters and has gone on to receive the ‘Mumsnet Rated’ accreditation for providing an affordable, accessible and flexible solution to days out in London, along with recently winning the silver award for best innovation at The British Youth Travel Awards 2019.

Decide for yourselves. You can download Keetoo for iOS and Android for free and then purchase credits to use on your day (or days) out – when, where and with whom you like!
