Da Nadas

Launched in July, De Nadas is just the addition to Goldborne Road that we’ve been craving. Borough Market was the location for my previous Arg entinian turnover fix, but with this Empanada emporium opening up on just about my favourite street in the Royal Borough, all our flavour filled pastry dreams have been answered.

Individual Empanadas
£4.50

Meal deals: 3, 6, 9 or 12
£12 - £42

Founded by Nico Buyo and Ñako Martinez in 2021 De Nadas is on a mission to bring the best of this Argentinian delicacy to London. Opting for the baked rather than fried variety, and with pastry light and crisp we devoured 6 different empanadas.

Served the argentinian way, cut in half with a smooth Malbec on the side, we sampled flavours ranging from classic beef and olive, through to rich and tasty chorizo and smoked cheese to vegetarian and vegan varieties with spinach, squash mozzarella and cherry tomato.

Each hand rolled to its own design; these little touches made the De Nadas experience a little bit special. With a large selection of Argentinian wines, clean and cool interiors and friendly faces behind the counter we know we will be back here fuelling up for our next market stroll.
